Experimentation is right at the heart of New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio, with elements often taken from the archive and reworked into something entirely new. The latest to come from the offshoot — a reimagining of the iconic 574 — follows tradition. The label’s design codes are still immediately clear, thanks to grey suede and breathable mesh underlays across the upper. But that’s about as far as the conventionality goes. The model’s tongue and sidewall branding are removed for a more refined look, while the sole is switched out for a Vibram® version that’s chunky, rippled and welted, too. - Suede Uppers - Mesh Underlays - Vibram® Sole - Style Code: MS574TDT
