The AriZona x adidas Continental 80 “Iced Tea” is one of four special edition releases from the summer 2019 collaboration. The pack contained the Continental 80 and Yung-1 each in two colorways inspired by the Iced Tea and Green Tea flavors of the popular beverages and their eye-catching can designs. This Continental 80 represents the Iced Tea flavor with a teal and pink striped upper with Southwestern-inspired graphics similar to the can. Pairs were released exclusively at a pop-up shop in New York City on July 19, 2019. Because each of the sneakers was selling for only 99 cents, a reference to the price of an actual can of AriZona Ice Tea, the pop-up drew a large crowd and was promptly shut down by the NYPD before all pairs could be sold.
