And while that’s usually mapped out on paper, the partners make that blueprint a little more visible on their latest sneaker collaboration, a Club C. The buttery black leather upper is inspired by trompe l’oeil — a forced perspective illusion that makes objects appear three-dimensional — replacing the usual court-focused overlays and perforations with printed white strokes that resemble tailor’s chalk.
