Description
The iconic SS 101 Jacket is crafted in a newly developed DRY DENIM®. visvim developed a unique method, consisting a special treatment to remove the oil found in the cotton fibres. Shrinkage from this process is severe and difficult to control; it is a complex technique that normally should not be used for natural fibres. The result is a tightly woven fabric with a dry and deep texture, usually only be found on vintage items. The textures, colours, and finishing processes are different with each piece, further enhanced with a damage wash treatment and hand drip paint splatter throughout. Featuring a signature pleated front, with two flap pockets and concealed side seam zip pockets, the jacket is finished with a custom blue selvedge outseam, original buttons and rivets, and a naturally dyed deer leather patch at the rear hem.
