The Blakely Bow Barrette features dual layers of airy organza, forming an ethereal bow. The organza material, at once gossamer and structural, lends itself excellently to the oversized shape. Each bow is expertly draped and sewn by hand in our Brooklyn studio, with an automatic French barrette closure that makes for easy placement in any number of hairstyles. Material The Blakely Bow Barrette is made by hand in New York of organza ribbon with a steel French barrette closure. We recommend treating this bow as you would a piece of jewelry, and storing in the dust bag when not in use. Avoid contact with water, perfume, and other chemicals, including hairspray, which should be used before placement in the hair.
