Building upon their previous collaboration, Adidas teams up with London-based footwear designer, Mr. Bailey, to present the Ozmorphis sneakers. The style acts as an evolution of the Ozlucent silhouette and continues the combination of futuristic aesthetics with underwater themes. Inspired by the lifecycle of the Aurelia Aurita, commonly known as the moon jellyfish, these sneakers are designed with a semi-transparent mesh overlay to mimic the bell of the jellyfish while a neoprene inner sock is reminiscent of wetsuit materials. With the aim of the project being to, “understand aquatic life forms and how natural engineering systems can influence the latest footwear technology,” the Ozmorphis sneakers are emblematic of the collaborating partners' shared desire for a boundary-pushing, conceptual approach to sneaker design.
