The adidas Ultra Boost “Eddie Huang - Chinese New Year” is a special edition of the Boost-cushioned running shoe celebrating Lunar New Year in 2019. Famous chef, author, and all-around personality Eddie Huang teamed up with adidas for the shoe celebrating his cultural heritage. The 2019 Ultra Boost for Lunar New Year features an all-red upper built in Primeknit with synthetic leather overlays and a soft suede tongue. Metallic gold hits are added for the Chinese characters on the heel and the panda graphic and adidas logo on opposite tongues. Metallic gold is also found on the Torsion bar support system within the sole. The limited edition adidas Ultra Boost “Eddie Huang - Chinese New Year” released on February 7, 2019.
